House of Blues

Last night was the Howie Day/ Anna Nalick/ Missy Higgins concert. Aside from standing in the rain in line in our ponchos and arguing with the security guards it was fun. We got a good spot near the front and Missy Higgins (we'd never heard of her before) was so good. Then of course Anna Nalick was awsome and we were practically the only people in the audience that knew her songs. Then Howie Day. he acted so trashed it was ridiculous. he was like "this is gonna get psychadelic so drop your acid now" "stop screaming my head is spinning" "does anyone have some tylenol?" (then he threw the tylenol into the crowd) "this is water in a red cup. no, actually its red water in a clear cup. really red. and i haven't drank any it's filled to the brim..." Yeah anyway we obviously mocked him a lot-especially liz. Liz and Chelsea and I left the floor in the middle of his set. liz thought she was gonna get beat up:-P I ended up getting a missy higgins cd tho- she's so cute. :o)
